Born in the Netherlands in 1959, Chris Bruijnzeels is a graduate of the University of Delft where he obtained a degree in Mining Engineering.
From 1985 until 1998, he worked for Shell International in the Netherlands, Gabon and Oman in several reservoir engineering functions. In 1998 he moved to PGS Reservoir Consultants in the UK where he worked as Principle Reservoir Engineer and Director Evaluations.
Chris Bruijnzeels joined Lundin Petroleum in 2003 as Senior Reservoir Engineer. He was involved in reserves reporting, development planning and acquisitions. In December 2004, he was appointed Vice President Reservoir and Production. In January 2009, he was appointed Senior VP Operations.
